India today lost one of the most prominent leaders of the socialist movement of the 70’s, George Fernandes.

A senior Janata Dal leader who later on went to start the Samata Party, Fernandes had been unwell and was bedridden last few years. He served as India’s Defence Minister from 1998 to 2004 under the leadership of Atal Bihari Bajpayee. It was during his tenure that India went to war at Kargil. Fernandes had also held several ministerial portfolios including communications, industry and railways in the NDA government.

The time has gone when millennials used to watch saas-bahu serials. Frankly, we prefer watching Ian Somerhalder from Vampire Diaries rather than watching Mouni Roy in Nagin. We believe Netflix is an effortless watch, more than television. We, millennials are more into binge-watching mainstream English pop culture shows. 

Since I am a serious binge watcher, every time I finish a series I think how it would have been if the same series was made in India. That’s why, this:
